What is an ESA letter for housing?

Who should write it?

A qualified licensed professional who can evaluate the request and satisfy state requirements. State licensure and the provider relationship matter, especially in states with extra rules.

What it cannot promise

  • It cannot guarantee approval by a landlord or housing provider.
  • It does not create airline travel rights.
  • It does not make an animal an ADA service animal.
